What your AFQT estimate can tell you

It is not a conversion to official ASVAB standard scores. The official program derives AFQT percentiles from standardized subtest scores and a national reference sample. Test form, adaptive item selection, testing conditions, and the much larger official exam all limit how closely a short online diagnostic can predict your result.

Is the practice test really free?
Yes. The 12-question Quick Check and 31-question Full Assessment are both free to take, and neither requires an account. You can create a free account afterward if you want to save the result and continue with a study plan.
How long does the practice test take?
The Quick Check is designed for about 3 minutes and contains 12 questions. The Full Assessment is designed for about 15 minutes and contains 31 questions. The official ASVAB is much longer, covers ten subtests, and has separate subtest time limits.
Will my practice score match my real ASVAB score?
No practice score can guarantee or reproduce an official ASVAB result. EnlistiQ reports a planning estimate and confidence band from this question set. The military computes the official AFQT from standardized ASVAB subtest scores and national norms.
What does an AFQT percentile mean?
Official AFQT scores are percentiles from 1 to 99. For example, an AFQT of 50 means the examinee scored as well as or better than 50 percent of the official reference group. Service minimums and other eligibility rules can change, so confirm current requirements with a recruiter.
Can I retake the practice test?
Yes. You can retake the practice test as many times as you want. Each attempt draws from a randomized question pool. If you create a free account, your score history is tracked so you can see improvement over time.
